Delivery Only Model – Foodbank Centres closed

Due to Coronavirus, we moved to a Delivery Only Model in March 2020. This is in line with guidance regarding social distancing and keeping people safe by reducing the need to leave our homes. Although we would like to open our Foodbank Centres, the number of people needing parcels at this time is so great, that we do not feel that we would be able to guarantee the safety of visitors if we were to remain open in a cafe-style setting.
If you can’t afford food, you can call 0808 2082138 (freephone) to speak to a trained Citizens Advice agent (Monday to Friday, 10am to 4pm). Please note this number is for people who do not have enough money for food – if you are a local organisation or charity that works with people who might need the food bank, please contact us directly for information about how to make referrals (or check your inbox!).
Alternatively, please call 0207 745 6464 to speak to the Local Support Payments Team (https://www.lbhf.gov.uk/benefits/help-paying) who may be able to issue you with a food bank voucher after a short assessment.
