We are delighted to announce that we will be returning to our Foodbank Centres from 4th October 2021, where we will be able to, once again, meet people face to face. During the last 18 months we’ve delivered over 500,000 meals plus extras such as fruit n veg bags, bread, cheese, cleaning materials and so much more to homes in and around LBHF. We’ve also made 1,000’s of ‘welfare’ phone calls to people who’ve been referred to us, helping to reduce the sense of isolation to so many people who have felt isolated during these most challenging times, but also helping to signpost as well as direct people to external organisations and other charities both local and national, that can provide support with specific issues such as debt, low income, housing, mental health and more. However, being able to meet people and have these conversations personally is so much more effective and ensures that what we offer is available to all.
The new timetable – and new Foodbank Centres – can be found in the attached document – but please remember – do not visit the Foodbank until we are open – from Monday 4th October 2021.
