Christmas Opening Hours 2020
We will be closing at lunchtime on Christmas Eve, 24th December 2020 and re-opening for deliveries on Monday 28th 2020. Please note that there will be no afternoon deliveries on the 24th.
New Year 2020
We will close at lunchtime on New Years Eve, 31st December and re-open on Monday, 4th January 2021. Please note that there will be no afternoon deliveries on the 31st.
Due to Coronavirus, we moved to a Delivery Only Model in March 2020. This is in line with current guidance to ensure social distancing and our desire to help keep people safe by reducing the need for people to leave their homes. The need has been so great that our Foodbank Centres would be swamped and it would be hard to keep people safe if we had stayed open in any form.
If you can’t afford food, you can call the National Citizens Advice emergency hotline – 0808 2082138 (freephone) to speak to a trained Citizens Advice agent (Monday to Friday, 10am to 4pm). Please note this number is for people who do not have enough money for food. This number will be closed during Christmas from 23rd December to 4th January.
If you are a local organisation or charity that works with people who might need the food bank, please contact us directly. Alternatively, please call 0207 745 6464 to speak to the Local Support Payments Team (https://www.lbhf.gov.uk/benefits/help-paying) who may be able to issue you with a food bank voucher after a short assessment.
